Welcome! At SmileMore Dental, you’re not just a patient—you’re part of the family! From your first phone contact to the completion of your treatment, you will know you are in a special place. It’s not what we do that makes a difference—it’s how we do it. We start by getting to know each other over the phone. After a tour of our office, we have a conversation to find out what you value and what is important to you. The examination includes reviewing your medical and dental health, charting of teeth and gum tissue, oral cancer and blood pressure screening, and a TMJ evaluation. Digital photos and updating of necessary x-rays are also frequently completed.
Dr. Yu will take you on a “tour of your mouth,” as we review previous dentistry, discuss current dental and periodontal conditions, and identify future treatment options. Utilizing progressive methods and state-of-the-art technology, we provide gentle care to help you achieve a healthy, beautiful smile. When necessary, we incorporate the services of specialists for the best possible result.
The treatment plan we establish is specific to you and your long-term goals. In contrast to the typical one-tooth-at-a-time approach, we look at the big picture. We study the interaction of teeth, gums, jaw joints and muscles to restore and preserve full function and aesthetics.

We are in-network as a preferred provider for the following insurance: Delta Dental, Cigna, GEHA, Fed VIP, and MetLife.

In addition to these, we accept PPO out-of-network insurances and do our very best to help you where possible. In fact, as a service to our valued patients, we assist you in preparing your insurance forms to make sure you receive full benefits.



SmileMore gives you a number of options for receiving the Oro Valley dentistry you deserve.

For your convenience, we accept cash, personal checks, money orders, debit and most major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard and Discover). Payment is expected at the time services are performed; however, if more extensive dental care is necessary, financial arrangements can be made with our office.

We hope you will never put off dentistry because it isn’t affordable. SmileMore Dental has meticulously designed and recruited a range of financing options to help those patients who aren’t covered by insurance. This includes CareCredit and Lending Club.
